A burglary has occurred at a property on Manchester Road, Leigh. A garden shed was broken into and several power tools were stolen. The incident took place sometime between 10:00pm on Saturday 14th March and 11:00am on Sunday 15th March 2026.

If you live nearby and noticed anything unusual—such as people or vehicles out of place, noises late at night, or if you have CCTV or doorbell footage that may be relevant—please get in touch by replying to this email. Even small details can be valuable, so please don’t assume anything is too minor to report.

Please remain vigilant. Ensure any outbuildings are properly secured and that no valuables are left on display. This also applies to vehicles, as this incident may have been an opportunistic theft. Look out for your neighbours and share any advice or concerns that might help prevent further offences.
